Check Alternator Performance

When the engine is running, Connect the Red and Black jumper clamps to the battery. The NS800 will display the current voltage from the alternator. This should read between 14.3V and 14.7V. If showing above or below these voltages, you should have the alternator inspected by a licensed professional.
